ReplyDeleteSorry it's taken me a bit to respond. I had my mom and sis at my house, so it's been a bit crazy. :)
I remember when I started a blog I didn't know much. I mostly have learned little by little...and I don't even know the half of it! What I have figured out is that you can get cute, free backgrounds. delightfuldots.blogspot.com is where I got my current background from. If you go to people's blogs (unless they get a custom background) you can usually find the link at the top left hand corner of their page as to where they got their background from. Once you get to the page they have step-by-step instruction on how to put the background on your page. It is pretty simple, but if you have any questions you can ask them...or me! :) Another fun thing that I have on my blog are "buttons". Those are the boxes that say thing like "this is what I know..." or "I believe...". If you click on the button it will take you to their website and just follow their instructions. I also love my "tickers". Those are the boxes that tell your kids age and name. They are a fun way to keep track of your kiddos. I got mine from lilypie.com. You can also click on them and they will take you right to their website. These are fun and you can get tickers for just about anything. Weight loss, miles ran, days until something you are looking forward to....anything!! Around Christmas there are fun tickers that will count down the days until Christmas. Fun! Generally, if you see something on someones' blog and you like it, click on it and it will take you to the place they got it from. I hope that this helps. If you need anything else, just ask! :)
